Members Only is a Euro-house/Hi-NRG/trance compilation series distributed by BMG for the German market. Vol. 11 features various configurations of the relentless four-on-the-floor beat, boisterously simplistic synthesizer hooks, and empty-headed lyrics that help Hi-NRG translate so easily to dancefloors the world over. Disc one highlights include Fragma's "You Are Alive," "Baguio Track" from Luzon, and Lexicon-K's "House Is a Feeling," which kicks of a disc-ending mini-set of pulsing tech-house. The second disc keeps the party going with cuts from Barthezz, Prezioso ("This club is closed -- FOREVER!"), and Germany's Dumonde, whose "Never Look Back" is a prime cut of ethereal, even anthemic trance.
