AllMusic Review by

This album differs from the other Swaggie LPs in their Graeme Bell series in that the performances were originally made for radio broadcasts. The band contains pianist Graeme Bell, trumpeter Roger Bell, Ade Monsborough on valve trombone and clarinet, clarinetist Don "Pixie" Roberts, Bud Baker on banjo and guitar, Lou Silbereisen on bass and tuba, and either Jack Banston or Charlie Blott on drums, and they are typically spirited and swinging on the revival numbers. Two selections feature Lazy Ade Monsborough with the rhythm section (sans Bell). Among the more memorable performances are "Strut Miss Lizzie," "Indian Shuffle," "Nobody's Sweetheart," and "There'll Be Some Changes Made." Solid Dixieland played with an understanding of the idiom and creativity within the idiom.
