Max Mix USA, Vol. 2 contains a number of club mixes from some of the record labels most popular artists, icnluding Whigfield, 2 in a Room, 20 Fingers, the Outhere Brothers, and Ruffneck. It keeps the beat going consistently, but the songs blend together too easily -- it's a compilation that's suited for the dance-floor, not home listening. Of course, dance clubs feature live scratching and mixing, so Max Mix USA, Vol. 2 can only approximate that experience. It's a fairly good approximation, but it can't help but fall a little flat when compared to the real thing. And, as an individual record, it fails to be a compelling outside of a handful of tracks.
