Let's see, the band is called Squirtgun, they're on Lookout Records, guitarist Mass Giorgini produced every single record on this label, the title track is a about a girl -"Mary Ann" from Gilligan's Island no lessand all the cartoon characters on the cover are sporting bright and shiny smiles. One doesn't even have to listen to Squirtgun to figure out that they're a full-on, care free pop-punk band. So happy and gleeful that you'd want to stick a Doc Martin up their butt just so they could have a bad day. Not that this bad, just a little too white bread and generic to stick out amongst the million other bands that sound like this. At least Squirtgun's contribution to the "Mallrats" soundtrack made that compilation...right?
