Just in case the first volume wasn't enough, Royal Ear Force has come up with Martini Mood, Vol. 2. The key aspect worth pointing out is that odds are that the woman on the cover with the headphones does not have her eyes closed due to aural ecstasy caused by this disc. Odds are she's been put to sleep by the quasi-organic downbeat productions and jazzy cultural mishmashes she's being subjected to. For many, that might be enough of a recommendation. Indeed, this mix of tracks -- from the likes of dZihan & Kamien, Kyoto Jazz Massive, Nicola Conte, and a host of lesser-knowns -- inspires relaxation, but there's little in the way of stimulation.
