AllMusic Review by

Vinyl collection of Fulson's late-'60s stint at Shreveport's Jewel Records. In truth, not the guitarist's shining hour -- some of this stuff is competent blues (some backed by the Muscle Shoals house band of the era), others abominable attempts at cracking the blues-rock market (his rendering of the Beatles' "Why Don't We Do It in the Road" stands as the worst thing Fulson ever committed to tape).
