It's got a classic pop sound with great clean vocals, good songs written in both of Canada's official languages, and a healthy dose of well-known guests behind the board, like Pure's Todd Simko and Steven Drake of The Odds. With all of that, Lunamarium has a lot going for it, and indeed, it's a pleasant little listen. Maybe it's a bit slick at times, but it's a really nice alternative to some of the other famous Canadian women who often go past "slick" into the territory of "insipid".
