Luis Enrique's fourth Sony solo effort is his most ambitious and creative to date; everything is thrown into the mix in this release, which comes off as quite daring. In an era of overly sappy lyrics and indifferent arrangements, this one is done to a turn. Omar Alfanno is the unsung hero, given the sensitive songwriting he displays with "Pequeña," "Date un Chance," and "Y Pensar." This production proved that salsa at its most commercial can still aspire to more. Ambition is the key element here, and it pays off handsomely.
