Among these 14 songs of ardor cut by Williams between 1976 and 1983, several were big hits, like "Free," "It's Gonna Take a Miracle," and "Too Much, Too Little, Too Late." In fact, nine of them also appear on Williams' Columbia greatest hits collection. This is not an acceptable substitute for that disc, particularly as it is missing the number one single "Let's Hear It for the Boy." There's also too much overlap for this to serve as a good supplement. The only one of the five songs not found on the best-of collection that made the charts was 1981's "What Two Can Do" (#17 R&B). The version of "I Found Love" here, by the way, is the "special disco version."
