Love Seed Mama Jump specializes in the kind of nice-guy, non-threatening frat rock that would endear them to fans of Hootie & the Blowfish, Barenaked Ladies, or Matchbox Twenty. The band, well-honed from years of touring the East Coast, performs their material confidently on their self-titled national debut, but that doesn't save the songs from being ultimately unmemorable. This also contains a cover of John Denver's "Country Roads."
