The Lebron Brothers' most important hits in their enduring career are all compiled in this excellent compilation, one of their first released collections. The late '60s saw changes in New York's Latin community. Son montuno and the boogaloo craze were the trends at this time, and the brothers managed to gain immense popularity among the new breed of youngsters who were up-and-coming in the latter half of the '60s, and the beginning of the '70s. "Regresa a Mi," "Mi Fracaso," "Salsa y Control," "Son Sabroson," and, especially, the romantic "Tu Llegaste a Mi Vida," are touchstones that ushered one of the new concepts that paved the way for the notorious early-'70s New York salsa movement. A must for aficionados.
