AllMusic Review by

Trombonist Arne Bue Jensen & His Viking Jazz Band are heard in fine form on this concert date from 1971, put out on CD 30 years later. Using "That's My Home" as their opening theme and "Now Is the Hour" as their closer, the Viking Jazz Band plays a well-rounded program of Dixieland and hot jazz that includes "Weary Blues," "Tar Paper Stomp" (a tune from 1930 later renamed "In the Mood"), "Sweet Georgia Brown," and a three-song 12-and-a-half-minute early Duke Ellington medley. In addition to Jensen, the key soloists are trumpeter Finn Otto Hansen, clarinetist Jorgen Svare, and pianist Jorn Jensen.
