The audio companion to a DVD of the same title -- with the same exact track listing -- Live at the Hurrah is a decent-sounding recording of Young Marble Giants from two dates in November of 1980. Their songs are so private that it might seem improper to hear them in this manner (this is, in fact, hardly an essential release), but fans who have Colossal Youth committed to memory might find it absorbing in its own way. Apart from a rather different-sounding keyboard, there isn't much difference in sound between these performances and the album, unless you count the slight noises in the background -- chatter, the clanging of glasses, and other ambient noise.
