AllMusic Review by

This release from the budget Laserlight label mostly finds Freddie Cole singing a repertoire similar to his brother's, including such tunes as "Walkin' My Baby Back Home," "Send for Me" and "Ballerina," plus two originals ("He Was the King" and "I'm Not My Brother, I'm Me") that he had recorded just two years earlier for Sunnyside. What makes the set different is that Cole is joined by the great Red Holloway (on tenor and alto), guitarist Jerry Byrd, bassist Delbert Felix and drummer Harold Mason, plus the fact that this is a live set. Everyone sounds in fine form, making the CD a worthy acquisition for fans of both Freddie and Nat King Cole.
