There's no information here about who's playing what (or where, for that matter,) but based on the back cover photos and the aural evidence Brother Ray is being backed here by a very large band. Along with the usual rhythm section there's a five piece horn section and a quintet of Raelettes.

In any case, the man himself is in splendid form, singing "Georgia On My Mind" like was the very first time, having a ball on "Busted," and playing sensational (and apparently Bernie Worrell-influenced) solos on "Blues for Scotia" and Paul Simon's "Still Crazy." The latter is performed here as the soul song it always wanted to be.
