Full Circle Live 1988 captures a live performance by Pierre Moerlen's Gong from a June 1988 show in Bremen, Germany. In this second phase of the prog group Gong, composer Pierre Moerlen drums alongside guitarist Ake Ziedén, bassist Hansford Rowe, and vibraphonists Stefan Traub and Benoit Moerlen in supporting the group's Second Wind album, which was on the verge of being released. The set is extremely jazzy, with an emphasis on percussion jams and vibe solos. Compositions tend to lean toward the elaborate, indulgent side, but for enthusiasts of Euro-fusion instrumentals and Zappa-esque musical explorations, this is a nice find.
