AllMusic Review by

The debut album from R&B quartet Vega is a big disappointment, especially as it was produced in entirety by super producer Dallas Austin, notably responsible for TLC. The album has no real standout tracks and is instantly forgettable. The fast tracks will eventually sound very dated, and the ballads are not original. The only high point is "Spread My Wings," a duet with Chilli of TLC, however, it is very similar to the TLC track of the same year called "Unpretty." The Freeworld label has been reincarnated so many times you could lose count; unfortunately Vega is not seen as the group that will finally propel the label forward.
