A limited-release edition of holiday tunes put out jointly by the U.S. Postal Service and the Concord Music Group, Letters to Santa is distributed seasonally only at post office locations, which means it’s keyed for the widest possible range of audiences. That doesn’t make it a generic collection, though, and there are some wonderful holiday gems here like Nat King Cole's version of "The Christmas Song," Rosemary Clooney's turn at "White Christmas," and Ray Charles’ glorious “Santa Claus Is Coming to Town," not to mention the previously unavailable "Delivering Christmas" by the beloved Muppets. Intended for the season of good will, these 13 tracks definitely fit the bill.
