Justo Betancourt's final solo recording for Fania leaves the listener with the odd feeling that the artist should have record more for the label (Fania Records was beginning to show decline in continuous production). This underrated release includes "De Madrugada," the only single to be promoted to any extent, notwithstanding the quality of the rest of album. Still, Betancourt doesn't falter on performance, as usual, giving the label one last solo round for their money.
