AllMusic Review by James Christopher Monger

Recorded live in Nashville at country music's holiest of shrines, Ryman Auditorium, the Willie Nelson installment of Time Life's Legends of the Grand Ole Opry series finds the iconic singer/songwriter in fine voice and clean-shaven (no pigtails yet, either) crooning early favorites like "Mr. Record Man," "Hello Walls," and "Touch Me," all of which were culled from 1964 through 1967.
