The songs on Legends of Rock: '70s Classic Rockers are not necessarily present in the original versions by the original artists, although most have at least some connection -- Greg Lake does former band King Crimson's "21st Century Schizoid Man"; John Entwistle borrows "Boris the Spider" from the Who's repertoire; and ex-Yes member Steve Howe helps out on GTR's version of their own "Roundabout." Many of the other songs are here in live or re-recorded versions, too. While there's nothing wrong with them, it also means that this collection isn't necessary for casual fans of these artists. Devotees, however, may find this interesting enough to add to their collections.
