Mano Solo's debut album, La Marmaille Nue (1993), was one of his most successful, selling over 100,000 copies without the benefit of any smash hit singles. Informed by punk rock as well as blues, the 15-track alternative rock effort is also the French singer/songwriter's most enduring. Amid his deep catalog of album releases, it remains one of his best-selling and most celebrated.
