Released in 2005, most of the songs on this album were recorded as the soundtrack to the original French version of the film March of the Penguins, by Luc Jacquet. The electronic sounds on this work are subtle and delicate, characteristic of young French singer/songwriter Emilie Simon. Most of the album is a succession of atmospheric instrumentals, with a few exceptions, including the lovely single "Ice Girl" featuring Simon's distinctive vocals.
