One thing that's apparent about this EP split between Knapsack and Stuntman is their love for Samiam and Jawbreaker. Both sides feature a gruff but melodic element of complex pop-punk that could be labeled "emo" if they were a lot sappier and whiny. Thankfully, without containing much of the latter, this record showcases the potential of Knapsack as they would go on to release a number of great records that would be a lot more sensitive and lighthearted while criminally, Stuntman would disappear into obscurity.
