What is true of Kiss Destroys Anaheim, Part 1 is also true of Part 2--the performances are excellent, but the sound quality is just OK. And while this bootleg LP wouldn't impress an audiophile, it manages to capture the excitement of Kiss' August 20, 1976 show at Anaheim Stadium in Southern California. Sure, collectors wished that this album had the excellent sound quality of the first Alive!--which is Kiss' most essential album--but they were glad to have it anyway and agreed that Kiss was in fine form on "Strutter" and "Deuce" as well as Destroyer favorites like "God of Thunder," "Detroit Rock City" and "King of the Nighttime World." Like Part 1, Part 2 isn't the ideal document of Kiss' Destroyer tour but is still a bootleg that went quickly when it turned up at vinyl swap meets in the 1970s.
