Killing Spree consists of multiple versions of the title track and "Straight Dirt," two songs taken from his It's Been a Long Time Coming album. Of the many versions, most are either clean or instrumental, so this isn't anything to get too excited about. Sure, these tracks and their remixes feature some esoteric production, so the instrumentals do hold up with the vocal mixes. Still, this EP just doesn't have that much to offer, especially after two or three versions of a particular track. The inclusion of snippets from It's Been a Long Time Coming is a nice feature, particularly for those that haven't yet heard the album. Even with the lack of reasons to get this EP, the fact that Mykill Miers is a truly gifted underground rapper worthy of attention stands as the best reason to pick this up.
