AllMusic Review by

Live albums often come across as segues between studio albums released so the fans don't get hungry, and that's the case with Snuff's Kilburn National 27.11.90. Released between Flibbiddydibbiddydob and Reach, this live recording of a show in Japan sounds more like it was recorded in an empty practice space. The quality of the sound is poor, the songs are sloppy -- in between long silent breaks and guitar tunings -- and the audience seems very uninterested. The only thing that prevents this record from being a complete stink bomb were the songs played. Sure, classics as "The Damage Is Done" and "What Kind of Love" are included on this set list, but why bother when you already own better versions of these songs on their previous albums?
