On her self-titled debut single, Kelly Slusher gently uses a minimal formula that basically consists of a guitar, a drum machine, and her soft-spoken vocals. Even if this style has been done and re-done a number of times before, Slusher has more of an innocent charm that sometimes resembles Rose Melberg. On top of the echoed vocals and occasional traces of new wave that's featured on the B-side of "One More Thing," this 7" contains a romantic feel of lo-fi indie-pop that could reel anybody in.
