K-Tel Presents Country Sunshine

A collection of mostly minor country hits that lean to the sunny side of things, this K-Tel two-disc anthology unfortunately doesn't include the original versions of these songs, but substitutes new renditions recorded by the original artists. In most cases this practice doesn't seriously damage the feel of the song; still, there are varied intangibles that make a particular version of a song a hit, and those intangibles are lacking here.
