In his fourth outing for Musical Productions, Willie González brings his customary elegance to this production; unfortunately, it did not received enough publicity, and although the MP sound machine pulls all stops with unquestionable professionalism, there is an odd feeling of sameness that prevails in this effort. The early '90s were trying to make a return to traditional salsa by the way of the salsa solo stars, and it may seem this effort is out of place with the times. Nonetheless, Willie González's relaxed vocals are always a plus, never undiminished after the proceedings. Gunda Merced's production brings the usual competence.
