The title is the giveaway -- "Just Got Back from Heaven" was one of the better tracks recorded by Sparks during that dreadful late-'80s hiatus in their customary brilliance, and it remains one of the better moments on this compilation of that very same period. For fans and collectors there's nothing here that won't already have been filed away, never to be played again: ten songs that open with the unimportant "So Important," close with the duo's paean to Madonna, and which, in between times, meander around a crop of lackluster dance-pop numbers, not one of which could reasonably be mistaken for the band at its best. As a budget-priced collection, Just Got Back from Heaven might just prove palatable to the uninitiated. But, with so many other Sparks collections around, why would even the uninitiated bother?
