Rockin' Around the Christmas Tree is a collection of famous artists covering holiday classics. Among the participants are Elton John, Brian McKnight, Aaron Neville, and Smokey Robinson. All of these songs are done in a fairly mellow, adult contemporary vein that may put off people who assume that it would be more rock oriented. Still, fans of that genre will probably want to pick this up, as this contains some more well-known, familiar artists performing these songs.
