Undoubtedly an effort to cash in on the late-'90s swing revival, this disc is one in a series of compilations, all of which include several tracks of crucial big-band swing along with a few more square pop hits to round out the proceedings. Jersey Bounce has the title track by Benny Goodman plus Count Basie's "Basie Boogie," Duke Ellington's "It Don't Mean a Thing If It Ain't Got That Swing," Woody Herman's "Woodchopper's Ball," and Cab Calloway's "Honey Dripper." The (relative) downside comes with the several tracks by Glenn Miller and Jimmy Dorsey, more famous as pop hits than dance tunes.
