Gem has a gentle touch of pop with sensitive guy issues, and their side features a quiet, pretty little instrumental. Jenny Mae is quiet, female-vocal pop band. A strange blues guitar lead fills the first song, while the follow-up contradicts with a keyboard drenched, new-wave track that lacks quirkiness or fun. Not a bad effort on both sides though.
