For this freewheeling session, veteran swing tenor Eddie Miller teams up with trombonist George Masso, pianist John Bunch, bassist Milt Hinton and drummer Duffy Jackson. As usual, Miller (who always had a beautiful tone) is exquisite on the ballads (which include "Dream") and stomping on the hotter material (such as "Them There Eyes" and "Love Is Just Around the Corner"). In addition to the standards, the quintet performs the leader's "I've Gotta Be On My Way" and Masso's "For Eddie by George." This out-of-print LP finds Eddie Miller (then 68) still at the top of his game.
