AllMusic Review by

Dressed to Kill's bizarre Invasion of the Rock Zombies set throws together a wide array of metal, pop, and rock bands, including Hawkwind, Saxon, Status Quo, and Bonnie Tyler. Though most of the set consists of hard rock and heavy metal of one stripe or another -- Tempest's "Living in Fear," UFO's "Love to Love," Steppenwolf's "Born to Be Wild," and Motorhead's "Iron Horse" being prime examples -- the inclusion of tracks like Jonathan Richman's "Road Runner," Captain Beefheart's "Mirror Man," and Fleetwood Mac's "Oh Well" makes for a disorienting listening experience. Mott the Hoople's "Dear Louise," David Bowie's "I Dig Everything," and Lindisfarne's "Lady Eleanor" add to the sonic confusion that plagues this set.
