This single volume is a chop job from the recent Definitive Pop collection that Rhino also issued. Given the breadth and depth of that two-CD set (this one doesn't even include "Walk on Gilded Splinters"), and that this one's a single disc, there is virtually no reason for those in the Dr. John novitiate to pick this slab up. For those wanting to dig in deeper than the Blue Note recordings, the other one is a far better bet also. This is just a blatant attempt to take your money twice.
