The Dwell label put out a string of generally poorly executed tribute albums in the '90s, and you can add Indulgence Inc.: A Tribute to Mötley Crüe to that category. It follows the standard Dwell formula of gathering a bunch of no-name bands -- a few of them admittedly interesting, but most not -- to pay "tribute" to a well-known act, banking on that act's name recognition for sales, rather than the bands actually present. The Mötley Crüe tribute is as uneven as one might expect with a band roster that includes the NC Thirteens, Rewind, Doom Kounty Electric Chair, Tuuli, Needulhed, and the Streetwalkin' Cheetahs, among many other obscure names.
