AllMusic Review by

A densely packed two-disc collection featuring 33 tracks ranging from 42 seconds to nearly ten minutes, the long-awaited CD debut by the Minneapolis improvisational duo Wrong (they had previously released several cassette-only collections) is a forbidding blast of noise rock. The instrumental improvisations, by an ever-shifting collective of John Vance and/or Emil Hagstrom accompanied by an ever-shifting cast of 20 other collaborators, were recorded over the space of three years, both live and in the studio. Ranging from atonal noise to free jazz-influenced rhythmic workouts to a few largely electronic pieces that could even be described as pretty, this kaleidoscopic two-plus-hours set is like an aural tour of the mid-'90s avant-rock landscape.
