Colour Club is a dance-pop/contemporary urban R&B project headed by songwriter/musician Bernard Wise and producer Les Pierce. The duo hired Lisa Taylor, a former backup singer for Janet Jackson, and crafted this collection of smooth ballads and grinding dance numbers. Nothing on the album is particularly distinguished, but everything is expertly crafted and immaculately produced. That level of professionalism means there are some fine tracks on the album -- particularly "If It's All Good" and "I Wanna Be With You," which is a duet with Take 6's Dave Thomas -- but it also means In Flow is simply a pleasant batch of ear candy and not much more.
