Huit Kilos once played lead guitar with Rochereau's Africa International, which makes him one of the greats. This judgment is confirmed by this memorial to Kabassele, Wendo and Eyenga. Two singers and two musicians are included, plus the magic of overdubbing, in some of the finest guitar-band soukous (plus keyboards in spots) in a long while. It is also evidence that the rumba rhythm was a great loss to the style.
