Boy George continues his mission in life of exposing dance and music fans to underground artists that are seldom heard outside of clubs. For this double CD released on his own TrusttheDJ label (also the name of his website, webradio show, and DJ service), he split the double set in two, one CD providing hard dance numbers and the second supplying music for those more mellow, intimate moments. It is a nice division, as the listener will no doubt find their favorite CD and allow it to be the soundtrack for whatever purpose. Although he does not remix any of the songs (he acts as a DJ), Boy George does have talent as a DJ in that he chooses songs that compliment each other and he provides an excellent, smooth, flowing mix. The first CD is a bit overlong and the songs do not provide a great deal of diversity. The clear highlight found on that CD is Boy George with Dark Globe and the wonderfully melodic yet hard-driving "Auto-Erotic." The second CD is much more interesting, with a mix of ballads, pop, dance, rap, and world music. Kid Galahad's "World Crashes Down" is sheer brilliance and worth the price of the CD alone. Boy George has done an excellent job of exposing a great many artists who might not otherwise find their way onto CD players. This is a good collection of songs, ideal for parties or other special moments.
