Out of the first three tracks selected for the Kompakt Pop series, Heiko Voss' "I Think About You" is the most pop and the least dance-oriented. A fragile, charming song with layers of soft keyboard tones and lilting strings, it's made all the more romantic with a simple but effectively lovelorn vocal refrain. Here, it's subject to three very different remixes. Little of the original remains in the "Geiger Mix," save for the vocals and traces of the melody. DJ Koze's dance-pop mix almost trumps the original, while the "Adolf Noise Mix" changes the original into a beatless mass of fuzzed-out melody that could've appeared on an early-'90s Creation EP.
