AllMusic Review by

I STILL LOVE YOU is a nicely chosen retrospective culled from Bobby Womack's mid-'80s tenure with MCA Records, with songs originally released on THE LAST SOUL MAN, WOMAGIC, and SO MANY RIVERS. It's a terrific showcase for Womack's formidable talents.

Highlights include a funky remake of the British hit "Living in a Box," (originally by the group of the same name), the eminently danceable title song, and the brilliant cheating ballad "I Wish He Didn't Trust Me So Much." There's also a duet with old pal Sly Stone (the latter in one of his periodic comeback attempts), "When the Weekend Comes," which features some of Womack's fiercest lead guitar work.
