Gospel singer Phebe Hines first began performing as a very small child. She grew up listening to gospel music, so it was a logical choice for her to lean toward that genre. It didn't take long for others to notice the vocal gifts God had blessed her with. Hines recorded her debut album, All That I Have, in 1991. Sadly for fans, it took her six long years to get around to releasing this ten-track sophomore offering, I Give up All. Hines has a powerful voice that shines brightly during the songs on this album. Her recordings have earned her nominations for Female Vocalist of the Year, Best New Artist, and others. Even if this is your first Phebe Hines album, don't be surprised if her voice sounds a little familiar. When not performing at gospel festivals and churches, or working on her own albums or with other gospel music artists, she has stepped into the recording studio to lend her talents to many commercials for everything from food chains, to tools, to cars.
