Canada's hosting of the Vancouver 2010 Winter Olympic Games brought about a monster-sized single sung by Canadians all winter long. "I Believe" was the CTV Olympic theme song, a tune that flooded the radio waves and television tuners while Canadian athletes played for the right to win medals on their native soil. The single was recorded three times over to support the bilingualism and multiculturalism, though all three versions were performed by rising young Canadian stars: the Francophone recording was done by Platinum-selling young pop artist Annie Villeneuve, the instrumental was composed by Celine Dion collaborator Stephan Moccio, and the Anglophone recording was recorded by rising star Nikki Yanofsky, whose voice reached a massive global audience thanks to the recording.
