AllMusic Review by

This 21-track collection from the U.K.’s Snapper imprint features a number of the Collins Kids' better-known hillbilly boogie and early rockabilly tracks such as the title track, "Rock and Roll Polka,” “Mercy,” “Beetle-Bug-Bop," “The Rockaway Rock,” and “Go Away, Don’t Bother Me.” It also contains a slew of bluesier numbers such as “Heartbeat,” a teenage pop track or two such as “Sweet Talkin’,” and other fine songs of the era. Nothing here is terribly rare or even unusual since all the tracks are representative of the duo at its best and have been issued elsewhere. That said, there are a couple of other collections that deserve to be chosen over this one, namely Introducing Larry and Lorrie on Columbia’s Collector’s Series and Bear Family’s Rockin’est. However, this set is a very decent representation of the duo’s work and appeal.
