AllMusic Review by Drago Bonacich

Spaniard Sara Montiel began her singing career in 1957 with the release of El Ultimo Cuplé. Produced by Juan Solano, her debut album was based on her successful movie El Ultimo Cuplé (The Last Torch Song). Homenaje a la Diva de España (A Tribute to Spain's Diva) mostly comprises songs from her album Besos de Fuego, produced in 1960 by Gregorio García Segura and originally released by EMI-Hispavox. This ten-track record features some of her greatest hits, such as "Besos de Fuego" (aka "Lover"), "La Montaña," and "Ola Ola Ola" (aka "Mare Nestrum").
