AllMusic Review by

Holidays in the Sun is a double-disc set capturing a August 1996 concert celebrating the 20th anniversary of punk rock. Many old-school punks who haven't done much of anything since the late '70s came out for the occasion, including X-Ray Spex, the Vibrators and the Anti-Nowhere League, as well as relative obscurities like Hanx, the Blood and V2. None of the groups have changed over the years -- if anything, they've gotten slower -- which makes Holidays in the Sun a weird nostagia exercise for aging punks, and even they will be dismayed by how lame much of this sounds.
