Richmonds' Hits From 1962 is the kind of disc that should never have been made. Sure there is some great music here, and any disc with "Tell Him" can't be all bad. But at only eight tracks, it really can't satisfy anyone's needs. Add to that the fact that half the songs (Chubby Checker's "Limbo Rock," Bobby Vee's "The Night Has a Thousand Eyes," Ben E. King's "Don't Play That Song (You Lied)," and Solomon Burke's "If You Need Me") are re-recordings that are vastly inferior to the originals, and you can see that this disc is a waste of the plastic and paper it took to make it.
